They formed a partnership, in which the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group’s project with Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

Former American President Donald Trump ran the Trump Organization at that time.

In 1927 his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump and his father Fred Trump established the organization under the name of E. Trump and Son.

In 2017, Donald Trump handed over the management of the business to his kids, in the midst of his preparations to enter the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
Bayrock Group was relatively new to the real estate scene at the time that the Trump Organization, Sapir Organization and Bayrock Group started their cooperation.

Tevfik Ariff, founder of Spring Street, created an arrangement to boost brand recognition and increase prestige.

According to his sources, Trump Organization would obtain 18% equity in the building , in exchange for using the Trump logo in the title.

Trump SoHo boasted 46 stories of exclusive restaurants, bars, banquet and event venues as well as an open-air pool, spa area apartment, as well as hotel rooms.

Trump SoHo was an instant success. Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and other organizations began looking at ways to improve their cooperation.
